| 1994-11-22 | An ABD conference is held in London, with many journalists invited. |
| Late 1995 | The ABD begins recording the location of every speed camera in the country. We subsequently published this information on our website — and were condemned for it, yet in time it became the official policy of all speed camera partnerships to publish their speed camera locations. |
| 1996 June | The 07000-781544 telephone number is adopted to provide one number to contact the ABD on. |
| 1996-06-21 | The ABD have a stand at the Goodwood festival of Speed. |
| 1996-07-20 | The ABD Website is established. |
| 1998 May | An internet mailing list is established as a discussion forum for members. |
| 1999 May | The first ABD local co-ordinators are appointed to help campaigning at a local level. |
| 2000 February | A telephone answering service is adopted to provide 24 hour coverage for calls. |

| 2002 June | Our first Local Issues pages are launched, including ABD Scotland. |
| 2004 August | On-line payments enhanced to allow members to renew online. |
| 2004-12-22 | Members and visitors are able to purchase ferry tickets online via the ABD shop. |
| 2005-10-23 | Local Issues pages now include a full compliment of all London Boroughs. |
| 2006 June | Local Issues pages now include all parts of Wales. |
| 2007-01-03 | ABD adopts an email marketing service as a means of distributing our press releases in a more user-friendly format. |
| 2007-02-20 | A petition against road pricing started by ABD member Peter Roberts gains over 1.8 million signatures. |
