We are concerned to ensure that our members are safe responsible drivers, therefore we ask you to please notify us if you have been convicted of any serious driving offences. We will consider any such offences individually before deciding whether to accept your application. If this does not apply to you, just click the proceed button below.

The ABD reserves the right to refuse membership to any persons convicted of dangerous or reckless driving, drunken driving, and similar offences.

If you have been convicted of any motoring offence within the last 10 years:

with the subject: "Motoring offences re membership application"
Be sure to include your name.
You should then click the "Proceed to next page" link below to proceed with joining.
There is no need to wait for a reply.
Should it be necessary to decline your application, you will be notified, and no payment will be taken.
All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
