- Brass Eye — Science
  In 1997 Channel 4 broadcast a series called Brass Eye.
  This was a spoof news programme which included segments in which celebrities were persuaded to present pieces to camera. The subjects they were asked to present upon were always spoof, yet the celebrities — despite some obvious clues — remained oblivious and treated the subject with deadly seriousness.
  The 'science' episode featured a number of celebrities urging people to protest about something called 'Heavy Electricity'. This was supposed to be some new form of elecricity that could fall out of wires and squash people.
  The ignorance of the celebrities featured is beyond belief.
  Nick Owen seriously tells viewers that some people has been squashed to just 8 inches high.

  Meanwhile Tania Bryer is tricked into doing a piece about clouds that produce rain that turns into 'triple water' which can uproot trees and kill monkeys. At the start of the piece she points to the sky and laughingly says "I've worked in weather so I know that it is (full of problems)."

  The parallel with the contemporary global warming scam is obvious. Today many celebrities, equally ignorant of science, have been persuaded to urge the public to protest about 'climate change' and 'global warming'.
  The difference is that Brass Eye did it for a laugh, whilst those behind the deception today are doing it to brainwash the public into accepting green political ideology, and naive celebrities are falling for it.
  So if you ever meet such a celebrities, ask them if they've ever seen the Brass Eye 'Science' episode, and wink.
