Kelly Gadd Vehicle Policy Group DVLA Longview Road Morriston Swansea SA6 7JL   Dear Ms Gadd, Consultation on the Convenience Charge for Credit Card Payments of Vehicle Excise Duty   Thank you for your letter of 22 October 2004, inviting the Association of British Drivers (ABD) to respond to the above consultation.   Of the five options identified, the ABD prefers Option E, which has the merits of simplicity, the lowest charges for cars and motorcycles, and a relatively modest maximum charge for the largest vehicles.
